Verifymy has officially achieved ISO/IEC 27566-1:2025 certification from the Age Check Certification Scheme for its age assurance solution.

The certification confirms that the platform meets the requirements of ACCS 1:2025 Technical Requirements for Age Assurance Systems, incorporating the new international ISO 27566-1 standard.

Alongside the overall solution, Verifymy’s email-based age checks and facial age estimation methods have also been recognised as ‘highly effective’.

As expectations around online safety and compliance continue to grow globally, the certification reflects the increasing maturity of proportionate, effective and privacy-preserving age assurance technologies.

Andy Lulham, COO at Verifymy, said:

“We are delighted to have received our ISO/IEC 27566-1 certification from the Age Check Certification Scheme. This milestone reflects the continued evolution of trusted, effective and privacy-preserving age assurance technologies, and we’re particularly pleased to see our email-based age checks and facial age estimation capabilities recognised as highly effective.”
