2019: Launched
Verifymy was founded in 2019, initially launching its age assurance solution – a diverse range of age verification and estimation methods designed to streamline the age verification process for adults and prevent children from accessing age-restricted content, products, or services.
Today, it is deployed globally by organisations across multiple sectors, including social media, online video gaming, e-commerce, and adult platforms.
Leading the way
Continuously innovating, Verifymy developed a ground-breaking proprietary method that can estimate a user’s age using just an email address. Leveraging data that a platform has already collected, this method can be deployed in the background, minimising business disruption with no user interaction required.
This privacy-preserving, frictionless and highly accurate method performs without discernible bias and is certified by the Age Check Certification Scheme to EAL level 3, the highest possible level for age estimation.
Safeguarding children & society online
Focusing on the ever-growing issue of illicit content online, Verifymy’s second solution is designed to prevent illegal content from being uploaded onto user-generated content platforms.
Verifymy has subsequently evolved into a broader online safeguarding technology provider, offering a unique suite of solutions unmatched by any other provider. Â
