Using the Verifymy eBay-compatible app

Once your eBay business seller account is connected to the Verifymy eBay-compatible app, all products listed within eBay's age-restricted categories automatically trigger an age verification when purchased. When viewing orders on the eBay system, you can check the status of customer verifications – these appear as 'order notes' on each order.

When a customer makes a purchase, Verifymy will attempt age verification using the customer's order details or a previous successful verification.

If Verifymy cannot verify a customer's age, they'll receive an email reminder containing a unique link to verify their age using a range of verification methods.

Upon successful verification, the 'order note' on the eBay system will update, and the order can be shipped without delay.
